As many of St. John's regular programs have temporarily been put on hold due to the ongoing developments of COVID-19, it had been a very long time since the quilters were together, and seemed much longer.
We keep in touch by email and telephone and sharing pictures of projects we are working on during this time of self isolation. Our prayer is that we all stay safe and stay healthy.
On October 27th, nine fully vaccinated and masked members of St. John’s Quilters for Cancer were excited to gather, socially distanced. This was the day we had all been looking forward to for the past nineteen months!
We look forward to being together again in person to continue our ministry of making quilts for cancer patients.
